FLAT CABLES – using ‘short row’ knitting to distort the stripes and create curves and cable-like visual pattern effects, while keeping the fabric absolutely flat… I find the best way is to simply use a ‘tuck’ stitch on the diagonal areas of the pattern… I love the effect this can create on a raglan
sweater – especially where the seams meet (hopefully!) over the shoulders…
